Helen Brown
We have tested the Snow Leopard update and found that it no longer crashes Accordance with the MS font that we were testing. We plan soon to release an accordance update that restores the functionality of MS Fonts in Accordance. We recommend that our SL users update their OS in preparation. If you can test 8.3 on the new OS we would be grateful, and you will have your MS fonts in the meantime. You can download 8.3 again here: http://www.accordancefiles1.com/products/8.3_install.dmg Of course, it won't install over a newer version, so you will have to delete 8.3.1 and use the code for version 8, but it will install into Accordance folder if it is in Applications. Helen Brown
Update: we were able to get the crash again (with Hoeffler text font) so we are back to square one.
Michael B Thompson
Helen, with Snow Leopard 10.6.1 and Accordance 8.3.3 I'm getting crashes every time with Hoefler text set as default (Console reporting: "EAccessviolation: Access violation" every time), so have reverted to Palatino and the problem went away. Didn't have the problem before I installed 8.3.3 All the best, Mike Thompson
Helen Brown
The Hoefler Text font file with Snow Leopard is the problem. If you replace it with the same font from an earlier system it will work fine.
