If I've got the Preferences window open in "General", and I drag two fingers up and down my trackpad, as if I am doing a two fingered scroll, with the cursor in the left list of sections (General, appearance, text display et al....), then the "ignore mouse click in slide show pane" check box rapidly flicks on and off and on and off at a rapid speed. Other sections in the Preferences pane do the same thing with other checkboxes.

I discovered this because I was doing a two fingered scroll in the left box to see if it scrolled or not. The same thing happens if I roll the track ball on a mighty mouse with the cursor in that box.
