JPark
Hi, I did a search for all the hapax in the book of Psalms and looked at the Concordance in the Details analysis which lists the results in alphabetical order. Would it be possible to have the Concordance display the words in the order that they are found in the book of Psalms? Regards, Jason
jpkang
Why not just use the search window's results? I searched BHS-W4 (every Verse of [All text]) for: [COUNT 1] <AND> [RANGE ps] (I get 185 hits, 171 verses)
JPark
Oh, wow, that was embarrassingly easy! :-) I think I got confused because I was trying to use the Hits command. Thanks for your help! Jason
Helen Brown
Note that using the Range command to define Psalms finds the true hapaxes: words that occur only once in the entire text, but are found in Psalms. Had you limited the search to Psalms using the pop-up menu range, you would find the words that occur once in that book, but perhaps many times outside it. JPark
Yes, thank you. That's exactly what I was going to do next :-) After that, I used the Hits command and Range to find the words that are unique to Pss 42-89 in regards to the Psalter. Thanks!
