From the WBC on Isaiah 54:10--

9–10  YHWH swears that it will never happen again. He cites his promise to Noah after the flood (Gen 9:11) and insists on the unshakable nature of his ‏חסד‎, “devotion,” and his ‏ברית שׁלום‎, “covenant of peace.” See F. H. Polak, “ ‘The Restful Waters of Noah’: ‏מי מנחר‎—‏ימ נח‎,” JNES 23 (1995) 69–74.

In trying to track down the article by Polak, I discovered that the journal is not JNES (Journal of Near Eastern Studies), but rather from JANES (Journal of Ancient Near Eastern Studies). My hunch is that the mistake is not in Accordance, but in the original (especially after studying under Watts way back in the nineties!).

I wonder if anyone has a hard copy of the WBC on Isaiah handy that could look this up to confirm. If it is a mistake in the original, I'll contact the publisher and let them know.

I confirm that the print edition reads JNES.
