Annotate Accordance in Video Projection?

Here is what I would like to do, but have not yet discovered a way to do it. I project my accordance text onto a screen with a video projector and laptop. I would then like the ability to annotate the projected text - i.e. circle words, draw lines, underline or highlight words - write comments onto the projected text. I know I can create a powerpoint or a Keynote presentation and do this with slides - but is there a way to do this directly in Accordance in real time? Does such a thing require a tablet PC? Or can it be done?

There may be some third party software out there to do what you're describing, but I don't know of it.

I think a better solution is simply to use screenshots pasted into Keynote that you can annotate ahead of time.

And if you want to demonstrate how to do something in Accordance, command tab out to Accordance already running for these demonstrations, and then command tab back to Keynote for your annotations. I've actually done this many times.

Hi, Dick!

Yes, there are several pieces of software that will do this. Check out OmniDazzle [http://www.omnigroup.com/products/omnidazzle/] for instance, though there are other options. You might also consider purchasing one of the Bamboo tablets [http://www.wacom.com/bamboo/] to draw on. It makes things a lot easier.

Tim, thanks for the link to OmniDazzle. I'm downloading it right now. The price is right and I think I can put it to immediate use.

You're so welcome, Rick!

Unfortunately, I actually bought it just a few weeks before they decided to offer it free! :-( Oh, well, it's a fine tool. Enjoy!
