Ruth Ann Posted July 17, 2010 Share Posted July 17, 2010 I noticed that Psalms 51 in all of my versions had 19 verses. In the BDB(BHS with Westminster Hebrew Morphology) there are 22 verses. Helen Brown Posted July 17, 2010 Share Posted July 17, 2010 BDB is a dictionary, so I think you are referring to the BHS-W4. If you make this the search text you will see all the verses. This is part of the way that Accordance handles verse discrepancies. In this Psalm the title (verse 0 in English) covers two verses in Hebrew. Whenever you are in doubt, check the entire context for that version. The shortcut is to select a verse in that version and click the Context button on the resource palette.
