Working with the new zone system I have found that I sometimes want to insert a tab in a specific zone
but Accordance then wants to place it somewhere else, when I use the menu "File>New>X". I think that it would feel logical
to add an control-click activated "New text in zone"-popupmenu in the zone-header area. That is the area that turns blue when
the zone is in focus.

It would also eliminate some unnecessary mouse-clicks if a way to open a text in a new and separate workspace was added.
This could be adding a "Open in new workspace" menu to the Library-windows popup-menus and/or adding a submenu with texts to the "New workspace"-menu.

I am aware that both tasks can be performed now. These suggestions would simply make them as simple as they could be :) .

As before, pressing command when opening a text opens it in a new workspace.

I understand your other suggestion but it may be difficult to implement cleanly.
