Greek/Hebrew Fonts Gone

Just uninstalled 8 and installed 9.

Then since then 9 doesn't have right fonts in both languages. Wants to load texts in Helvetica. Seems like fonts aren't there. What do I do?

Try the newly posted 9.0.3 installer, and if that doesn't help, try the Font Fixer, also on that page.

I tried both of those and it did not work. However when I manually removed the Helena and Yehudit fonts from the font library and then re-ran the 9.0.3 installer it did work.

I'm surprised the Font Fixer didn't work, as it essentially does that (remove all old copies and give clean ones). So after running the latest font fixer it wasn't good, but the manual install worked?

Yes that is correct. When I noticed the fonts were not available I tried to select the Helena font in the preferences for the Greek text from the library window. However the font was not there (neither was the Hebrew font). When I looked in the OS X application 'font book' it was there. Tried running the font fix as suggested above but that did not do the trick - had exactly the same problem. Tried re-installing 9.0.3 and still had the same problem. So removed the fonts using the 'font book' application then re-installed 9.0.3 and it worked fine.

It was probably the computer fairies having a bit of fun!!!
