David Garrison
I apologize if 1) this question is covered somewhere else, and 2) I use terminology that is incorrect or confusing... I'm still trying to figure this stuff out! I'm wondering if it's possible to "link" zones to follow each other - like the user notes/bible notes will follow the scriptures when "added" to the bottom of a scripture pane. I know many resources that one might open in a zone wouldn't work this way, as they aren't "tagged" by verses, but some (such as user notes) are tagged that way. Also, is there a tutorial for Zones and the other new features of A9 available yet? Thanks!
Joel Brown
Currently, there is no explicit zone link, but documents still LINK and Tie with one another. So you could still tie each of your User Notes to your scripture text, and they'll stay synchronized. The only difference is that you'll have to tie each document in the zone, rather than just setting a single tie for the entire zone. Once Dr. J returns from the Users Conference, he is working hard on producing podcasts on each of the new major features of v9, including zones. In the meantime, if something doesn't make sense, you can always ask here! I'm sure if you attend one of the upcoming free training seminars there'll be extensive work with the zones and other 9 features.
