Alistair
Can anyone shed some light on the letters in parentheses: "Beyond any reasonable doubt, them, the kefalis biblion (rpo tlnm) was the Pentateuch..." Spurgeon on Psalm 40:7, "Explanatory notes and quaint sayings", the paragraph beginning "Verse 7. The volume of the book. But what volume of manuscript roll is here meant?" I've looked at the Hebrew text but it does not look like a transliteration. Thanks! PS I assume "them" should be "then"
Alistair
(rpo tlnm) OK, nevermind, I've sussed that it's supposed to be a transliteration of בִּמְגִלַּת־סֵפֶר Or the Hebrew font is missing.
