Outis
Hello, I was typing in my user notes with the Helena font. When there's a capital letter at the front of a name (Ἰησοῦς), what is the proper input order? Is it breathing mark first or capital letter and then breathing mark? I'm getting some pretty mixed results. I either get the breathing mark way ahead of the iota or mashed in with the iota. Any thoughts?
Helen Brown
For capital letters the accent comes first, for lower case it is always after, and it should position correctly unless you have turned off the Automatic diacritical marks in the Greek & Hebrew Preferences. Outis
Hi Helen, When I try this (smooth breathing mark first, then capital Iota) then this is what I get: Ἰηοῦς The only difference is that the smooth breathing mark is not next to the Iota. Instead, it's almost as if there's a space in between. I'll attach a screen shot.
