Robert B Johnson
Open Accordance (9.0.7), open ESVS. Search for word "homosexuality." Select either of the two references, control-click, choose, search for, key number. Crash. I can do this on two machines, both running OS 10.6.4 and Accordance 9.07. Select either of the two references, control-click, choose, search for, key number. Crash. I can do this on two machines, both running OS 10.6.4 and Accordance 9.07. Seems as though there is more to it. It seems to happen under different texts and other search options.
Helen Brown
I am getting a failure to do the search when I try to search for the Key numbers for the first occurrence of homosexuality, and I think this is because there are 3 Key numbers on the one word. Other words that have two key numbers work find for me, such as "separated" in Gen 1:4. The second homosexuality with only one Key number, works fine. I do not get a crash at all. Please contact me directly to screenshare as this might help us find the problem.
Robert B Johnson
Just wanted to add the resolution incase someone else experienced this problem. Helen remoted into my MacBook (after hours on the weekend!) and at her instruction we rebuilt the preferences. That sovled the problem. But after Helen left and I began re-establishing my preferences, the problem crept back. Turns out, it was a font choice that caused it. I was using Anonymous Pro for something and as soon as I changed it, Accordance started working again. Even after putting back all my other preferences (from a backup) the problems was fixed. I happened to make the new font choice Menlo Regular the problem was solved. Thanks again Helen for you hard work even on the weekends!
