Daniel Vocab

I am trying to create flash cards for the book of Daniel and so I typed in [COUNT 1-2000]‏@‎[Adjective]<AND>[Noun]<AND>[Verb]‏ ‎<AND>‏ ‎[RANGE dan 1-6] but when the results come up there are verses that there are no words for and for example 1:2-3,6-9 have no hits. But I think there are words that would be in this range. This is my first exegesis class and so I need a lot of vocab. What am I doing wrong? Also does anyone know how to get the list into A. card form and B. iflash?

Thanks

A few things about your search:

1) [COUNT 1-2000]‏@‎[Adjective][Noun][Verb] is really searching for the Adjectives that occur 1-2000 times, that are in the same verse as a noun and a verb. My guess is you actually want all Adjectives, Nouns, and Verbs that occur 1-2000 times. That search is: [COUNT 1-2000] @([ADJECTIVE] , [NOUN], [VERB]) Recall that the parentheses with commas mean "any one of the items in this set".

2) Recall the difference between [RANGE Dan 1-6] and setting the range popup to Daniel 1-6. The former, the RANGE command, essentially filters the results, but searches the whole text. So, it will not list any words that occur over 2000 times in the entire text, not over 2000 times in Daniel 1-6. The latter, the range popup, only searches that area, so it will include more common words that just don't occur over 2000 times in just the 6 chapters. I'm not sure which you are looking for, but I've attached a screenshot of both setups.

To get these into a flashcard program, just go to the Analysis window as part of the details, set up your list how you want, and do some exporting. Someone else with more specific experience with the iFlash may be able to give better instructions at this point.

1:2-3,6-9 have no hits.

To make it clearer, these verses contain no adjectives.

All that is need for the iflash program is a file that has them CSV in the following format

Front of card 1, Back of card 1

Front of card 2, Back of card 2

Front of card 3, Back of card 3

Can accordance export in CSV? Also is there away to not show the same words? For instance if there is a word used in verse 1 and 2 to only show that word once.

I wish I knew how to use this program better, I think it is probably really great I just have no idea how to use it.
