Christmas List for Santa

Outis

Recommended Posts

Every year, at the end of the calendar year, I like to write down my Accordance Christmas list to give it to Santa. Here's what I'm thinking for the future:

1) The Book of Concord (the Kolb - Wengert edition from Augsburg Fortress)

2) Ylvisaker's "the gospels" (from Northwestern Publishing House)

3) Isaiah II (from Northwestern Publishing House--or any of their other commentaries on books of the bible)

4) Ye Ol' BDF (yes, I know you're currently in negotiations. I just thought I'd add it to the list)

5) The Archeological Study Bible (Yep, I know it's going to be released soon, but I want to see a big mob of zealous, impatient people---you know, kind of what like is going on with the people who want the Accordance iPad app. Where are the mobs of people yearning for this bible? Where are the pitchforks and torches? Why isn't David Lang stringing us along with teaser postings about this bible in the Accordance Blog? Where are the podcasts from Dr. Jenny, telling me that if I get this bible, all I have to do is project pictures from this bible on my sanctuary wall then I won't have to worry about preaching sermons anymore? Of course, I say all this in jest. But, I do look forward to this bible)

Santa, please read my list and don't give me a lump of coal---you know, like you did last year.

Hope Archaeological Study Bible fit in your stocking. We did just sneak it in before Christmas, and hope it was worth the wait!
