Derek Lewis Knox Posted January 22, 2011 Share Posted January 22, 2011 I tried the following μεν <NOT> <WITHIN 15 Words> δε in a regular (not construct) search, set to "Search in every Book" so that it checks when μεν and δε are within different verses. My search correctly avoids the false hits in Luke 23:56-24:1, Gal. 4:24-25, and Jude 1:22-23. My search (wrongly) does NOT catch Mark 9:12, Acts 9:31, Acts 14:3, Rom. 11:13, 1 Cor. 11:18, 1 Cor. 12:28, Heb. 7:5, Heb. 9:1, and finally James 3:17-18 has a δε on word number 15, so it is not found by my search, but it is in yours. I wonder why there is a discrepancy between those two methods, and why neither is perfect. Derek Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
