Joe Weaks
If one has a text open in a workspace and the amplifies to a tool, going back to the text and amplify to the same button using control click is treated just like a regular click. In other words, it will simply used the recycled window instead of opening a new window separate from the workspace. This is an oversight. The hold down of control key indicates the user is wanting a window opened separate from the workspace. (And now we see the vague line between bug and feature.) Helen Brown
Control-click means that instead of opening a new tab you want it to open a new window. It is not meant to override amplifying to a suitable open window or tab. If you do not want a current window or tab to be recycled next time you amplify, turn off the recycling in Recycle Contents
