David Ball
I recently noticed I no longer have highlighting between my key number text and the Hebrew/Greek parallel pane. I checked preferences>instant details and key highlighting is turned on. Since I am just a original language beginner, having text highlighting is important. Any thoughts as to how I can get it back? I am on Accordance 9.2.
Joel Brown
Can you post a screenshot of your setup? Specifically, I want to ensure the texts you are using and how they are arranged.
David Ball
Thanks Joel for responding.. I haven't done this before but let me give it a try. Hopefully I have attached what you are hoping to see. I noticed I put this is the wrong catagory also
Joel Brown
Thanks for posting a picture, I see your problem. You have it alongside the GNT-TRS module. The S means it is tagged with Strong's numbers, but not grammatically tagged. The crosshighlighting you seek is applicable to original texts with grammatical highlighting, such as the GNT-T or GNT-TR. Just switch that pane to one of those two and it'll be back. On a side note, I noticed you are searching the ESVS, but displaying the NAS95S. If this is intentional, thats fine, but it usually isn't. Usually people want to see the results from their search in the text they searched. I'll also move the topic.
David Ball
Thank you Joel that worked. I did not understand that highlighting was specific to grammatically tagged vs Greek/Hebrew text with Strongs. So for the Hebrew, it looks like BHS is not grammatically tagged. I recently purchased the Zondervan Scholarly Bible Study Suite ( I am a wantabe) and thought that would help as a first start with Hebrew. What do I need for Hebrew to help me compare the Hebrew to the English? PS I noticed you are a horn player. My son, Matthew, played French Horn at LSU as a music major. Helen Brown
You can add the Scholar's Intro level $149 (less credit if you paid for version 9) or just add the BHS-W4 which is the tagged Hebrew Bible text for $60.
