Easy Install won't

Hi Helen / Joel / ?,

 

I've been trying to use Easy Install to download some installs (or unfinished parts thereof), but it keeps on timing out with no result. I've tried a few times over a few days at various times of day - but same every time. Here's what I end up with - https://skitch.com/en0ch/r4a9p/accordance (note - the three highlighted items are all the ones outstanding).

 

Can you help me?

Please download the 9.3.1 installer directly from the Downloads page, and install that upgrade, then the other downloads should work better. Let us know if they don't.

Well after all that ... you can now cancel the Skype and all of it. I've downloaded it all successfully

 

The problem was either or both of:

 

1. having all three incomplete / undownloaded items marked for installation simultaneously (a very very big set of data)
   
2. downloading in background (given that I have a utility called AppTamer which pauses selected apps when they're not the active app)
   

 

All good now, I think
