Guntis
I enjoy daily readings feature in Accordanve 9.3.1. But I wish to have one more pane with EBC along the Bible text. Is it possible to define the default daily reading worskpace layout so that it would open with all those panes every time I open daily readings? Helen Brown
We really wanted to keep this feature simple, not too many options. It just takes one click to add the EBC to the text tab.

OK, understand. I adjusted layout and tried to save this worskpace as one of my my favorite worskpaces. It looks like this: However, when I save this worskpace and open it again from the "My Workspaces" Resource Palette, commmentary notes at the bottom of the worskpace window occupy 1/3 of the window's height. Somehow window division proportions are not preserved. Can you look into this issue? Here's how this worskpace looks after reopening it from My Worskpaces:
ChrisJ
Hi Guntis, How did you get your daily readings list to highlight alternate colour rows like a table? It looks great! Thanks : ) Chris

David Lang
Chris, The alternate shading in the new Chronological Readings and Devotional Readings modules (a free update to the old Daily Readings) is part of the formatting of those modules. When I updated the Daily Readings, I decided to update the look a bit. The M'Cheyne Readings modules also have this formatting.
ChrisJ
Hi David, Thanks very much for your reply. I have the Daily Readings module and Accordance 9.3.1 I have tried to go to Check for updates, but I seem to be up-to-date. How do I update my version? Thanks again! Just a small thing, but it does look much better!
Joel Brown
This is a new module, so it should appear in Easy Install. Does it?
ChrisJ
No, well... the only thing that is in there is the 'Accordance 9 with free starter collection (download)' 91.6MB see attached It mentions the devotional readings in the description but I haven't installed it as I wasn't sure if it would write over my existing maps etc... ?? Joel Brown
Go ahead and install that package. You see the Devotional Readings as part of the download. This won't remove anything from Accordance, simply installing anything you own but don't have installed. You'll notice the Maps content is the Sampler, which is a standalone tool. It shouldn't cause any problems by installing.
ChrisJ
Oh, I just saw the error of my ways... I was using 'Daily readings' instead of 'Devotional' or 'Chronological' i.e. selecting this from the drop down (attached) I've changed the order of my general tools so they appear at the top of the list and if I select them I get the highlighted rows (attached) Albeit if you look at the second screen shot, there's a funny white box on every other row that shows up just before the month if you use a coloured background. Thanks for all your help on what was such a minor issue! All the best Chris
