Installing Die Mac Studienbibel

When I purchased Die Mac Studienbibel some of the modules were available via Easy Install, which is great. But the rest had to wait until install via CD-ROM, which I received today. The experience of installing from the CD-ROM was not very pleasant, for the following reasons. I sincerely hope all the modules will be available via Easy Install soon. These are the issues that should be addressed for more pleasant experience.

1. Beginning the installation from the CD-ROM required installation of Rosetta. It is not a big deal, I suppose. But it also tells me that the installer for Studienbible hasn't been updated for a while, which led to

I just purchased the Studienbibel CD and am a little leary about using the installer. Do you or does anyone else have advice about this...

Should I use the Studienbibel installer?

Is there an Accordance 9.x Studienbibel installer yet?

If I shouldn't use any of these what should I copy to where?

Thanks!!!

We are updating our installation instructions. It is best to avoid running these very old installers. Just copy the modules from the CD to your Accordance/Modules, the files in Texts to Texts, and the files in Tools to Tools. Do not replace any modules you already have, and do not copy the Grammatical texts. Then you can add these modules from the menu at the bottom of the Library window in Accordance 9.

Thank you for the reply Helen. I attended the Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa Seminar yesterday and purchased the Studienbibel there. Although I cannot remember the name of the Pastor from Phoenix who presented, he did an excellent job as did the young man who assisted us (I think his name was Darrin?). I want to thank Accordance for having the seminars as I enjoy them. I too had the opportunity to help some very nice people from Westchester... Pastor David and Marjorie. Thank you again for our help and rapid reply.

Thanks to the help above - I just started a parallel thread. I went back and forth with the customer service rep who originally emailed me my confirmation about why this wouldn't install, and she had no idea. I think it's really incredible that Accordance is sending out disks that don't install when you click install, and that they're not informing their customers or customer service reps of this problem!

We have not been able to reissue this old CD because it is published by the German Bible Society, and they have been planning an entire upgrade for years but it isn't ready. We are working on instructions to go out with our disks, and I am sorry that the rep could not help you. Sales reps cannot be up on all the details usually handles by the tech support staff, so please contact the support department whenever you have an issue.

Thanks again for all the help. I'm having trouble with the Greek font on the BHS apparatus - it shows up as English script with punctuation, so something like re"OUu, for example (Num 19:1, note a). Thanks!

I do not see any problem with this. I would run the FontFixer first, and if the problem persists, post a screenshot here.
