Newbie question - syncronize bible scrolling?

Hey all,

Just got accordance yesterday and am running through it - one quick question I have yet to see answered yet (and yes, I've run through many of the introductory videos)....

I wish to 'tie' (need the correct word) two open bibles, so when I scroll or search in one, the other one stays in the same place. I.e. if I jump to Jer 31 - the other bible will simply be there when I click it open in the tab. This also applies to commentaries that I may have open. I don't wish to have to do the same search for each resource I have open, I know there's a way - and I'm sure it's rather simple, I'm just not familiar enough with the interface to make that happen.

can someone help?

thanks

Rory,

Right click on the TAB of the Bible or resource that you want to "tie". Click on "Set Tab" and from the drop down box select the Bible translation that you want to "tie to.

Bob,

thanks a ton! I hadn't seen that... I need to play more with it to get comfy, but that did the trick! Thanks again

You understand now how to "Tie" tabs or workspace searches together, the less complicated/easiest way of doing the same is to have the bibles and commentaries open in the same tab. See my attached screenshot.

Instead of opening up additional bibles you want to see concurrently by the library or resource palettes, use the "Add" buttons on an existing search tab. They open in the same tab/window, and are ALWAYS synced together (even if you don't want them to be!).
