Ruben Gomez
How can I search inside a search? I have pulled up Ephesians 1 with the search bar, how can I quicky find how many times it says "in him" inside that section I searched for? Thanks. Here's one way to do it: Instead of searching for Verses, use searching for Words. Use the RANGE command (i.e., type [RANGE Eph 1] or use the keyboard shortcut Shift-Command-R). Add the AND command right after it (use the shortcut Shift-Command-A). Write the word or words (i.e. sentence) you want to look for and press OK (or Return/Enter) The search should look something like this: [RANGE eph 1] <AND> in him The advantage of this method is that you can very easily modify the last part of the search syntax. Hope this helps.
Joe Weaks
Hitting Shift-Command-A and Shift-Command-R is muscle memory for me at this point. I do this search a lot, and once you have the rhythm of it down, it is so easy. You type in the word(s) you're searching for and then hit ⇧⌘A ⇧⌘R and then type the range out.
