Lion, Triple-click

Is anyone else running Accordance on Lion? If so, are you having trouble with triple-clicking?

Triple-click does not work on my new macbook pro with Lion. Most annoying and puzzling.

Triple clicking works fine on my MacBook Air (Lion 10.7.2).

You may wish to check your Trackpad preferences (System Preferences). Tap to click (one finger) makes the triple click easier (for me anyway). :P

Thanks, Michael. This is how i have had it set up throughout my work so far. So this is not the answer. But thanks for offering some help.

Very odd.

Does triple-click work in other programs that us it (like Microsoft Word, where it selects an entire paragraph)?

Hmmm.... No, it does not work there either. Thanks for the idea....

That's very odd... When I logout and go to another account, triple clicking works

But when I go back to my usual, it doesn't... What to do now? Reinstall the OS X. Thought we only had to do that kind of stuff in the world of Windows...

Other ideas, anyone?

For the benefit of those who helped, and others who might have the same problem:

Happy to report that I found the solution. Noticed when i logged off and on to another account that there the triple click was working....

Some detective work led to this solution: System Preferences > Universal Access > Mouse & Trackpad > Trackpad Options and Mouse Options > Double-click speed. It was set on its fastest. Too fast. Slow it down and presto!

Thanks for your help, Michael. Much appreciated. Your comment set me on the right track.
