Missing Modules

Today I tried to bring up a number of modules in my library (on my MacBook) but some I could not open. A dialogue box opened each time for the missing items asking me 'Where the file for xxxxx was" but they are not now in my tools listing of modules on the hard disk. The modules concerned are ZIBBCOT, ZEB, BP-Colony, GNT- ALEX/SI/VAT/WAS Images. All other modules I tried were OK (and the missing ones are still on my-Pad). What is likely to be creating this problem and how can I re-install the missing modules?

Thanks

Andrew

Firstly: have you tried searching your hard drive for the modules? Be aware that on Lion the search does not include the user/Library folder.

Second: you might try following these instructions in case you have two "Accordance" folders:

Accordance may have created a second folder in the "other" Application support folder.

There are two Library/Application Support locations, one on the Hard Drive which should allow any user on the computer to access the files and run Accordance (but only the owner can install to it). The other is in the user or Home area. Accordance should be in one of these locations, but not both.

If you are on Lion, or migrated from another computer, that folder may belong to the system or to another user. If you are on Lion you will be unable to see the Library of the user unless you press Option and open the Go menu.

You should delete the folder that does not have all your modules. Only check that the files in the Gloss folder that you remove are not newer than the ones you keep. Keep the newest.

Third: you can delete the modules from the Library window and let Easy Install reinstall them for you.

Thanks Helen - option 3 above has sorted the problem.
