Error when I try to look at Altitude Data

Tim Goldsmith

Recommended Posts

I just installed Accordance 7 & Atlas 2. I was taking the Atlas for a spin, but every time I try & 3D render a map it either A) crashes the whole of accordance or B: Tells me "I/O Effor #-50 in the file ":Atlas files: Altitude data" "

I am not sure if I should try reinstalling the whole Atlas, or what...

Any suggestions?

Update:

I reinstalled the whole atlas & still have exactly the same problem.

It either

A: Brings up a map screen that is empty (Just a white page)

B: Gives me the error message (attached in the original post), or

C: Crashes Accordance.

Very frustrating

Did you install version 7.0.1, or are you using 7.0?

Tim,

I believe there have been a couple of cases where for some reason the installer has not completely copied the Altitude Data file. Try inserting the second Atlas CD-ROM, and DRAGGING the Altitude Data from the CD-ROM to the Atlas Files folder inside your Accordance folder. This should copy the entire file correctly, and everything should work fine.

Thanks David,

I tried the direct thing & now it seems to be working just fine.

It all made a nice break from a Pentateuch essay too!

Love your work!
