Christoph Koehler
Hi there, Accordance crashes right away when I go to preferences and click on the Tool Display entry. It does look like it pops up some kind of alert window, but it disappears too fast to be meaningful. I see the following in my logs: 8/25/12 8:13:27.768 PM acord: kCGErrorIllegalArgument: CGSOrderWindowList: NULL list pointer or empty list 8/25/12 8:13:27.768 PM acord: kCGErrorFailure: Set a breakpoint @ CGErrorBreakpoint() to catch errors as they are logged. 8/25/12 8:13:32.089 PM [0x0-0x86086].com.OakTree.Accordance: An unhandled exception occurred at $0000738D : 8/25/12 8:13:32.089 PM [0x0-0x86086].com.OakTree.Accordance: EAccessViolation : Access violation 8/25/12 8:13:32.089 PM [0x0-0x86086].com.OakTree.Accordance: $0000738D 8/25/12 8:13:32.089 PM [0x0-0x86086].com.OakTree.Accordance: $003CF4F4 8/25/12 8:13:32.089 PM [0x0-0x86086].com.OakTree.Accordance: $00027C5A 8/25/12 8:13:32.089 PM [0x0-0x86086].com.OakTree.Accordance: $003C4D56 8/25/12 8:13:32.089 PM [0x0-0x86086].com.OakTree.Accordance: $00385A99 8/25/12 8:13:32.089 PM [0x0-0x86086].com.OakTree.Accordance: $003859DF 8/25/12 8:13:32.089 PM [0x0-0x86086].com.OakTree.Accordance: $00399DF9 8/25/12 8:13:32.089 PM [0x0-0x86086].com.OakTree.Accordance: $0039B470 8/25/12 8:13:32.089 PM [0x0-0x86086].com.OakTree.Accordance: $9C26ADEC 8/25/12 8:13:32.089 PM [0x0-0x86086].com.OakTree.Accordance: $9C0E64F3 8/25/12 8:13:32.089 PM [0x0-0x86086].com.OakTree.Accordance: $9C0E5970 8/25/12 8:13:32.089 PM [0x0-0x86086].com.OakTree.Accordance: $9C0E5788 8/25/12 8:13:32.089 PM [0x0-0x86086].com.OakTree.Accordance: $9C275F00 8/25/12 8:13:32.089 PM [0x0-0x86086].com.OakTree.Accordance: $9C112E2F 8/25/12 8:13:32.089 PM [0x0-0x86086].com.OakTree.Accordance: $9C 8/25/12 8:13:32.110 PM [0x0-0x86086].com.OakTree.Accordance: 277C08 8/25/12 8:13:32.110 PM [0x0-0x86086].com.OakTree.Accordance: $9C26ADEC 8/25/12 8:13:32.110 PM [0x0-0x86086].com.OakTree.Accordance: $9C0E64F3 8/25/12 8:13:32.110 PM com.apple.launchd.peruser.501: ([0x0-0x86086].com.OakTree.Accordance[1654]) Exited with code: 217 You can probably reverse engineer it from here Thanks! Anon
Thanks for the report. The programmers will take a look. Meanwhile, you've probably got a corrupt Tools Preferences file. Try deleting the Tools preference by: Quitting Accordance Navigate to ~/Library/Preferences/Accordance Preferences/Tools Delete Tools file in the above directory Accordance will rebuild the file. See if that perhaps fixes your crash. Edited August 26, 2012 by James Tucker
CDaniel
I've had the same problem. Crashed consistently a few weeks ago, so I deleted the preferences file and rebooted. Worked fine for a while until today, when it happened again. I re-deleted the tools preference file, and I'll be avoiding that part of the preferences window.
