The Treasury of Scripture of Knowledge

I hope that Accordance adds The Treasury of Scripture Knowledge in the near future. This cross reference help is a must-have and comes with the most basic Bible software packages without an additional charge.

I'm sure I have that module (module notes below), but I'm not sure how I got it - one of the many collections I've bought over the years.

You must have bought Accordance in 1997! Yes, we had the module back then, but had to withdraw it over a claim that the etext was not public domain (even though clearly the contents are). Nelson has a new edition, but we haven't been able to secure a license for it. Our Cross References module has the references along with others, but not the links to the words.

The original of MacBible was ThePerfectWord. Anybody go back to the 80's with that program?

I came across a review article I wrote comparing different Bible programs. At that time I mentioned both ThePerfectWord and MacBible (and Quickverse Mac 1 and HyperBible), suggesting that MacBible was better and indeed cheaper, but that extra modules were cheaper for ThePerfectWord. My recollection however is that I never owned ThePerfectWord but used a review copy supplied by The Bible Society (NSW), for whom I was doing some IT work at the time.

I fondly remember HyperBible, and quick verse was my first macBible, but it wasn't a great program as memory holds, my favourite program was Bible Research Systems WordSearch, which in the old days was a fabulous program, unlike their current dip back into mac which is just their windows software running on xWindows, although i do not have version 10, the items i do own in the system work fine enough on my iPad… and I keep Parallels running for accessing my New Interperter's Bible, so not a big deal running word search there when i want to access it which is only a few times a week normally. Accordance works well enough for most all my needs.

I know this is an old thread, and it was quite diverted from the original topic. I wonder, Linzc could share this module (TSK) on the exchange site? Or if it could be re-incorporated into Accordance? This is indeed one of the most basic tools of Bible study, and one I use on a regular basis. I'm aware that There is a Cross reference tool with Accordance, but having every reference sorted by word saves a lot of time of scrolling over every reference, and trying to figure out how it is related to the text being studied. This tool is absolutely essential to the way that I study the Scriptures.

I would love to have TSK in Accordance as well!
