cmd-N on keyboard does not create new tab, Acc 10.0.2 on OS 10.8.2

Is your default text in a subfolder of your library? That bug has been reported already and should be fixed soon. Until then, you can move the text to the top level of Texts in your library.

I believe this is fixed in the imminent update of 10.0.3.
