I reported a single instance via "Report a Correction," but this is more systemic.

In text modules with a verse number of zero that contain notes (e.g., Psalm 5:0 in NET and NASB 1995), Instant Details does not work. Moving the cursor over the note symbol (or letter or number as the case may be) does not show Notes content from the corresponding Notes tool pertinent to the text. Moving the cursor over note markers in non-zero verses yields the expected behavior. Clicking the note symbol in the zero verse will open a tab in the Notes tool with the attendant note.

The same behavior occurs in Accordance for iOS. I discovered this anomaly while reading Psalms in the NET Bible as part of my morning reading using an iPad2. Click and hold does not bring up the Instant Details box. To read the note, one must open the relevant Notes tool in the split screen.

This is a minor annoyance, but clearly a bug.

Unhappily, 10.1.6 does not correct this bug.

Has anyone else noted this?

Yes, I see this too. Clicking on NET note 23 in Ps. 5:0 opens the NET notes module but hovering over it will not display the info in instant details.

Sadly 10.2 does not fix this anomaly. For example, hovering over "40" at the end of Psalm 3.0 in NET shows nothing in instant details. Click and hold does nothing. Doubling clicking opens NET notes, but not to the proper point to read the note!

Similar behavior is seen in Psalms NAS95. It is also an issue in iOS Accordance.

It sounds like this is a problem in the module, and will need to wait for the next module update.

Thanks Helen. It involves at least NET and NAS95. I would suggest checking all texts that have notes attached to verses with number zero (mostly in Psalms).

Unhappily the newly updated NET and NET Notes did not correct this anomaly. It persists in both Accordance for Mac and for iOS. I cannot comment on the Windows iteration. I find it fails in Psalm 1:1, where note 80 does not display properly in Instant Details (it shows note 1).

We've just released an update to the Net Notes (version 3.9) that should fix this issue. Thanks for the heads up!

Mark

Thanks! It did seem to fix the majority of cases for NET that I checked. It did not fix note 80 in Psalm 1:1 (NET).

Also NAS95S has the same problem with verse zero (FWIW).

But thanks for working on this!
