Free Accordance Webinars

Last Tuesday, we launched our first in an ongoing series of free Accordance training "webinars." Our live training seminars have been hugely successful, but there's no way we can travel to every location that would like to have a training seminar. Our Video Training DVD, which has now been made freely available online, gives anyone anywhere access to in depth Accordance training, but it lacks the personal connection and interactivity which come with live training. That's where webinars come in.

What is a "webinar"? It's an interactive teaching session conducted online. Each webinar will focus on a single topic and will feature a short presentation followed by a time for questions and comments. Registration for each webinar is limited to 25 participants, so you'll want to register early for the sessions which interest you.

Our webinar instructor is Dr. Timothy Jenney, affectionately known as "Dr. J." Dr. J has been A Mac user since 1984 and an Accordance user since version 1.0. He holds a Ph.D. in Ancient and Biblical Studies, and is a college and seminary professor with online teaching experience. He did a fantastic job on the first two webinars conducted last week, and he's been getting rave reviews from those who participated. If you'd like to watch a recording of that webinar, you can download it here.

Be sure to check the webinars page to see the upcoming schedule and find out how to register for upcoming webinars. If you take advantage of this newest training opportunity, you'll soon be thanking Dr. J for helping you get the most out of Accordance.

David, the download is an .arf file, which I'm not familiar with (nor is my computer). How do we open and run this file. I'm very keen to see it. Paul M.

If you follow the link to the webinars page you will find a link there to the free players for each system. Those who attended the webinar already have that player in the meeting software.
