Matt Christian Being in Seminary, I often saw others using programs to help with translation and exegetical work. I would bring print lexicons to class (yes the big huge ones) and spend half my time thumbing through them to find particular glosses, while others would simply pull up several lexicons at once. It soon became apparent that I needed to rethink things a bit!

When I began to work on my Master’s thesis, I started looking into Accordance. I had a few professors suggest it and after simple research, I decided that Accordance was for me. Since they focused more on biblical texts than sheer number of books they could cram into the platform, I quickly realized that I could preform complex searches and have everything I needed as a student at my fingertips.

I talk about Accordance so much, one of my professors has asked me to demo the program to his first year Hebrew students! Thank you Accordance for all that you do, from the amazing staff to the abundance of resources that do exactly what I need. I have never even purchased any other software and am very pleased with Accordance.

Matt Christian is a student at the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina where he uses Accordance in his Masters thesis work on the Dead Sea Scrolls.
