Accordance 11.2 is here for Windows & Mac! Version 11.2 is a significant update that is free to users who have already purchased Accordance 11. Here are the major feature updates in 11.2:
New “Accordance” Font
The new Accordance Unicode font will install in your system. It includes English, as well as our own glyphs (characters) for Hebrew, Greek, Syriac, Arabic, Coptic, transliteration & manuscript symbols. We recommend this font for Unicode export, as well as for Unicode display in Accordance.
Export of Bibliographic Data
Use the Action menu or contextual menu in the library to export bibliographic data from the Library Window. Data will be exported in .RIS format for import into bibliographic management software such as Endnote, Zotero, Bookends, and others.
Tools without Page Numbers Are Cited with the Paragraph Number
Older titles without page numbers will now include a paragraph number in citations.
Multiple Undo/Redo actions are now available in every text entry location via the Edit menu or through keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y (Windows) and Cmd+Z / Shift+Cmd+Z (Mac).
No More Missing Verses
As many have noted, until now if a verse was missing from the search text or combined with the previous verse (such as Psalm titles), any texts in parallel panes would not display that verse.
With 11.2 this has been fixed. Not only will you see all the text in parallel panes, but we can offer Bibles where there are only paragraphs, such as The Living Bible. Even with the TLB as the search text, parallel versions will be displayed in full.
Startup by Favorite Workspace
Now, you can choose to startup Accordance with your favorite workspace already loaded.
Unicode Search in Research
Unicode Texts and Tools can be searched in the Research pane.
- Library Item Can Be Added to the Toolbar.
- Accordance for Mac is now a fully-Cocoa app.
- Support for Split View OS X El Capitan.
- Support for OS X Dictation.
Accordance users who have v. 11 already installed can launch Check for App Update from the Accordance menu on the Mac and the Utilities menu in Windows. Users of earlier versions can check the Upgrade section for their options.
Haven't upgraded to Accordance 11 yet? The Starter Collection is the most affordable way to get up and running with Accordance 11 or upgrade from any earlier version.
