Last week, Darin announced that the Accordance website now supports user-submitted product reviews. We know it’s one thing for us to tell you that a particular Accordance resource will be an indispensable addition to your library, and quite another when another users writes, “Hey, I purchased this and can’t imagine life without it!” Or when they write, “I thought this would be helpful, but it’s not a good fit for my needs.” Because these users have no vested interest in getting you to purchase or pass over a particular resource, their perspective can be more helpful than any marketing blurb.
Of course, all this depends on you, our users, taking the time to write thoughtful reviews of various Accordance products. To give you a little added incentive to help one another in this way, we’re offering a $200 gift card toward Accordance products to the person we choose as November’s “Reviewer of the Month.” You’ve got until the end of the month to add as many helpful product reviews as you can to our product pages. We’ll determine the reviewer of the month by looking at both the quality and quantity of his or her reviews. In other words, posting, “I love this product” on a thousand product pages will definitely not make you Reviewer of the Month, while posting a number of truly helpful reviews probably will.
Just as we’re not looking for quantity at the expense of quality, we’re not looking for positive product reviews to the exclusion of negative ones. If you genuinely feel a product has its weaknesses, we want you to list those in your review. Only if you’re honest can you genuinely help other users determine which resources will be most useful to them.

Don’t wait. Others have already begun adding their reviews, and if you add a few each day you’ll have a better chance of winning than if you try to write a bunch at the end of the month.
