    Poll: Light or Dark Mode?

I use Dark Mode for as many applications as I can due to the length of time each day on a computer, it helps avoid the brightness burning holes in my retinas However, I have not yet updated and tried Dark Mode (been too busy). Below is a link to an old post of mine showing what colour schemes i currently use to alleviate eye strain and why, if it helps others. a link to

full screen bug (maybe old news?)

Is this the only workspace that does this, or do any of your other ones do it? Have you tried creating other workspaces (both simple ones and more complex ones similar to this) to see if it happens to those?

At the moment, I'm trying Dark Mode on Mac, Light Mode on Windows. Might keep running with it for a while.

    obsc. in BDB

I believe that you are correct. LSJ uses this same abbreviation ('sens. obsc.') for the the full 'sensu obsceno' meaning 'with obscene meaning.' Apparently, this is how lexicographers deal with the problem of obscenity. For more information you can see, Coker, Amy. "Obscenity: A Problem for the Lexicographer." In Liddell and Scott: The History, Methodology, and Languages of the World's Leading Lexicon of Ancient Greek, 61–81. Edited by Stray, Christopher, Michael Clarke, and Joshua T. Katz. Oxford, UK: Oxford University Press, 2019.

    obsc. in BDB

Sometimes in an entry in BDB it says "obsc." I looked at the abbreviations listed, but is not provided. Does "obsc." mean "obscure" or "obscene"? I think obscene, but I don't want to guess wrong. The full sentence says "(c. ל pers.; sensu obsc.)." Thanks for any help anyone is able to provide. Kristin

Atlas Requires Colors File Which I Can’t Find

The color files for atlas are in the (hidden) Library directory for the User. The files are at Library/Application Support/Accordance/Atlas Files/Backgrounds in your user directory ( the Shift Command Period key combination shows hidden files). There was a bug in accordance about 12 years ago where you had to tell the program where to find each color file the first time you used the color scheme in Atlas.

    Poll: Light or Dark Mode?

Light mode is easier for me to see. I am currently running Azure with modified fonts, which is new to me. Previously I used Canyon.

Atlas Requires Colors File Which I Can’t Find

It has been one and half year...
  18. Update: they asked me to try: * safe mode + "Remove Startup Session" * safe mode + "Remove Startup Session" + "Remove General Settings". I tried both. Accordance crashed with the first, and it produced an "Accordance Error!" at the Easy Install step for the second after I clicked on "Updates" and then back on "Easy Install" when no resources showed up. The Easy Install window was still live (the error popup wasn't a modal dialogue), and I clicked "Download All". After the downloads, I clicked "OK" in the "Accordance Error!" window as it recommended, and Accordance quit with a DOS-style error page. Accordance launched, producing a messed-up workspace like the one I posted at the start of this thread. Clicking on the library icon toggled the library menu, but it appeared as a column in the middle of the window, not on the left in its usual place. Trying to open a new workspace didn't work. After closing the app, I tried to reopen it but it no longer launches when clicking on the Accordance icon in Windows.

    Poll: Light or Dark Mode?

Here's my fresh startup: I am really looking forward to a genuine dark mode for Windows!

    Poll: Light or Dark Mode?

I use light mode because dark mode is not neat at all on Windows. I would love to use dark mode if it actually works.

    Poll: Light or Dark Mode?

Thanks! I've alternated between the two. For Accordance itself, Light Mode is pretty good (although so is Dark Mode, especially on the Mac app). The rest of the Mac UI I prefer Dark mode as Light Mode on newer macOS releases is too light. On Windows, Light Mode still seems to be a decent shade. Honestly, I prefer the color scheme of Mac OS X Tiger, Leopard, or Snow Leopard plus iOS 6 or before. It was a good balance between light and dark, and I never remembered complaining of eye strain.

full screen bug (maybe old news?)

I just tested this on my MacBook Air following your video. I can reproduce it. I don't know how we handle workspace-type stuff, but I'll ask around on this one and see if there's any kind of answer I can provide.
