  2. actually did that just to test how my windows install was working. However, the two libraries took up too much space on my tiny 512gb ssd so I had to uninstall it. New macine will be 1tb. Maybe I'll try it again and post pics.

    What is Mac Scripting?

tbh I don't use scripting or automator anymore. I did. But shortcuts has done all of that much simpler for me.

    What is Alfred 5?

And if you use a lot of shortcuts (I do; over 100 of them custom to my needs), you can run shortcuts directly from alfred. just and then you'll see a list of your shortcuts. You can also make other shortcuts to run a specific shortcut. To me, alfred, bartender, and shortcuts are the killer apps of macOS. BTW, I've come back to alfred because of shortcuts. I used it years ago and then dropped it. I'm now back at it with v5 and will never leave again.

    What is Alfred 5?

alfred haș changed my life. It is like spotlight. Sure. But it's so, so much more. especially if you pay and get the power pack. You can compose emails, control music, send files, create and organize folders, on and on, all from alfred. If you're one who likes to keep their hands on the keyboard rather than back and forth with trackpad/mouse, it can't be beat and is worth 10x what I paid for my use.

    Apple Watch Question

I still use a series 4. Upgraded a few years ago from the series 0/original Apple Watch. From 4 on, I've found everything is instant and the watch is actually useable. The series 0 was so slow that it was basically useless for me. I tried the 4 as my last shot to see if this was a thing I'd get into. the 4 is fantastic. Everything after is even better. From what I've seen the 2gen SE is basically a spec-bumped series 4, so I wouldn't expect any issues whatsoever.

  9. @Kyle Young I'd recommend emailing Tech Support.

How to define search ranges that work?

Are you saving your search? (command+s)
  13. Is anyone else having issues converting PDFs to text as a user tool in Accordance 14.0.9? When I try: User tools > Import... > Create a New User tool > Interpret as: general > Ok I either get a list of page numbers with no text (as seen below) or each page of the PDF is presented as an image on each page. Let me know if I am doing something incorrectly or if User Tools is not the right application for what I am trying to accomplish.
  14. I'm now having the same problem as @Accordance Enthusiast. I've been using the most recent update to Accordance smoothly for months. Suddenly, Accordance crashed, logged me out, and made me recommit to the End User Agreement. When I reentered the login info, that same popup began appearing and hasn't stopped. Here's the Crash Log: Accordance Crash Log Crashed at: 16:20:7:409 On: 27 of Mar, 2024 Mountain Daylight Time Accordance 13.3.4 (13.3.4.0) Windows 10 (10.0.19045) RAM: 1217MB free of 7876MB total Disc: 17GB free of 223GB total Message: Access violation Address: $005CF7F0 Backtrace: $005CF7F0 $005CF7B8 $005D5DF9 $0059C651 $75A812BB $75A77A5A $75A76391 $75A75EB0 $00404016
  15. Yep, same here when i went back so hopefully sales will be able to sort it out for me, but it still raises the question why sales need to get involved to do something manually when the software on the server should know what we own.
  16. The customer service rep was able to accomplish what the website could not. —Joseph
  17. I also have a problem with this: I can’t get the gloss to show up on my iPad, but it does appear on my iPhone. This may be related to installing on the iPad more recently rather than the difference of device.
  18. I must be missing something because I am unable to setup a search range that works. When I click <Search><Define Range> and make the appropriate entries in the <Define Range> dialog box, the search range is not applied in a subsequent search. Here is an example search definition that does not work: Search Name: New Testament Definition: Matthew-Revelation Verify: <passes> Update: <passes> (presumably) Now, when I search for any arbitrary word, the range searched is not the New Testament books. Instead, all of the books in Bible, from Genesis to Revelation are searched. What am I missing? Cheers,
  19. I've sent this to the web team to look at. It might be easier if we just added a link to the Accordance Exchange from our Downloads page.
  20. Anyone having issues, definitely reach out to Customer Service. They'll make sure you're taken care of.
  21. @KevinPurcell I'd email support on this one. Working on both my Intel and M2 Macs running Sonoma 14.4.1.
  22. The website doesn't seem to know I already have the set and won't give me the upgrade option... sigh. Emailed Orders to get some help sorting this out.
  23. @ukfraser I would think sales could help you. What I downloaded was the NT module which you have purchased.
  24. you Obviously chose the better way to go! Hopefully accordance will sort it for us who invested via the single module route soon!

    Serious problems in CNTTS apparatus!

I'm pretty sure this is industry standard practice. Resellers don't usually have the right to make corrections to - or otherwise modify - material that they don't hold the copyright to.
  27. Interesting. That makes sense. I don't like it in cases like this where there are sub-verses, but it makes sense as somewhat necessary and inevitable. Thank you.
  28. I just bought the Peshitta Add-on: Peshitta (Syriac) OT, NT & Gospels. But I dont find any gloss in the instant detail
