    Poll: Light or Dark Mode?

Always light mode. On every app.

    Poll: Light or Dark Mode?

It's been said before. Accordance often seems darker than other macOS dark mode apps. Better than Logos' dark mode though, which is a weird bluish hue.

    What is Your Favorite Commentary?

Dollar for dollar the SIL series has payed the greatest dividends for me.

    Poll: Light or Dark Mode?

On Win 11: Dark mode makes it hard to see some things. I usually use Canyon Theme. But I do also customize my text displays for various versions to darken them a bit.
  8. Tim Hall

    Poll: Light or Dark Mode?

I use Canyon (with slight modification) during the day, and after sunset use dark (again with slight moderation). I have my fonts set to gray both day and night.

    Poll: Light or Dark Mode?

light mode - spanish moss - dark mode and accordance don't do it for me - I would love a couple of extra themes though

    Shower of New Releases Continues

So excited to see LifeGuide stuff here. Hope to see more. And hope to see workbook support in Accordance mobile.

    Poll: Light or Dark Mode?

Customized Tuscany or Canyon in light mode. I don't care for the dark mode.

    Poll: Light or Dark Mode?

Light mode, although most of my other software I run in dark. The icons are weird in Accordance dark mode, and for reasons I cannot explain, it is harder for me to use than light mode. Maybe a good designer could do whatever tweaks it would take to get the tones right; it just feels odd to me for some reason. So I run light mode.

    What is Your Favorite Commentary?

Yes, and this is precisely what I like about his commentary. Metzger's commentary gives me an insider's view of the UBS/NA textual committee and allows me to almost experience the process that the committee went through. I can gain a better understanding of the various opinions and maybe even discussions the committee had.

    Poll: Light or Dark Mode?

Canyon and light mode are my preferred combination. Dark mode reminds me of those days with black background and green ASCII characters on terminals of my past—oh my! —Joseph

I really enjoy Daniel Block commentaries.

    Poll: Light or Dark Mode?

I have tried dark mode, but greatly still prefer light. Not a theme guy.

full screen bug (maybe old news?)

Yeah. Leaving full screen also over extends, but that's not entirely abnormal. Windows can push out however you like, typically. The issue I'm concerned with is full screen, where it's supposed to stay 'in bounds'. The problem recurs when I swipe from desktop or another FS app to the accordance space. Once I click in the app and begin working it resizes. Maybe the screen recording can help illustrate. Oh. Also, if I open control center or some other menu from the menubar (other than the 'three dots' of bartender), accordance will also snap back into proper size. Also, this is not an artifact of bartender. It's been happening for longer than I've been running that app. Screen Recording 2024-04-23 at 06.37.07.mov
  20. @Dr. Nathan Parker This instance of Accordance is now completely unusable. The application doesn't even launch without safe mode, and it hangs in safe mode. I've emailed tech support and am awaiting a reply. This bug is surprising because 14.0.9 had been fairly stable for me. I suspect the problem is related to the library & Easy Install issues I've seen reported recently on the forums.

    Poll: Light or Dark Mode?

I often spend double digit hours on screens each day. Dark mode is MUCH easier on my eyes over a long period.
  22. A. Smith

    3 different Accordance Files folders.

    perfect. Thanks

    Poll: Light or Dark Mode?

I prefer light mode because it is easier on the eyes, in my opinion. As far as theme, I used Spanish Moss (I think that is what it is called). I find it aesthetically pleasing.
  24. Kristin

    Poll: Light or Dark Mode?

Light mode since it is easier to see. Canyon since it is the least distracting. I found several of the other themes very pretty, but Canyon makes it easier to concentrate on my work.
  25. Dr. Nathan Parker

    Poll: Light or Dark Mode?

Do you run Accordance in Light Mode or Dark Mode, and if so, why? If you also use a particular color theme in Accordance, which one do you use and why?
  26. Dr. Nathan Parker

Library bug, Accordance crashing in safe-mode

I thought they had to email me a certain file or something along those lines. I can't remember exactly.

Any Updates on PDF Import Tool

We post all app update notes under "Accordance Announcements" when we have them (to ensure everyone can easily see them). We don't have any specifics on this at the moment, but keep watching there for updates.
