Accordance 14.0.9 MacOS 14.4.1 I've not seen this with any other verse.

Side question: Who all here is a member of ETS, and what do you consider to be the main benefit of being an ETS member? I'm an ETS member, but I haven't attended any of the annual meetings yet. Maybe I will once I get my PhD dissertation published or closer to it so I can present a paper at it. Plus I could always be a part of the Accordance booth too sometime. :-)

So far I've been using the default. Since it was a while since I used the Start Menu on Windows 10, I haven't had a major problem with it, but wondering if there's something I'm missing out in third-party apps.

Using default after trying a 3rd party on other computers. Guess I got tired of messing with changing when I migrated recently to a new main computer, and just accepted it now, like it or not. After a while it becomes the new normal.

@marco sanchez, I'm not aware of any tagged English translation of the LXX in Accordance, simply because no standard key system has been defined for identifying all the lexemes in the LXX. The closest thing I can think of that would allow you to do what you want in Accordance is to use the MT/LXX parallel module in conjunction with a tagged English translation. However, this solution is significantly deficient because the English text will inevitably be translated primarily from the MT, and thus there will be no correspondence with many of the words in the LXX. For the sake of example, here's the MT/LXX parallel module in action with the ESV: Outside of Accordance, another resource you might consider is the Apostolic Bible Polyglot. It provides an LXX/English interlinear with each word tagged using a custom numbering system developed by the author, which may help you with your goal of doing word studies.

Just purchased the Christian Standard Bible translation of the Holy Land Illustrated Bible. This would be an excellent resource to add to the Accordance Modules. Most of the articles were taken from years of Biblical Illustrator publications which were produced from around 1976 thru 2020 or thereabouts. I certainly would purchase this module to extend my studies as a Sunday School teacher and church leader. Charles Hammond

Open a search pane with your Greek text open as the search text. [count 100-10000] then open an analysis pane, word analysis, and the sels t “count down” form the set analysis crisply drop down (cmd/ctrl t). you’ll then need to select the top 50. i am not at my computer so going by memory. Let me know if it doesn’t make sense.

I am sorry for being such an amateur here. So the NETS is not tagged? Is there a translation / tool of the Septuagint that I can buy where you can click on the English word and see the Greek word they used like all of the other tagged translations of the bible I have from accordance?

For Windows 11 users, are you still using the default start menu, or do you use a third-party alternative?

You're welcome to post a Module Request on Themes sometime, and we can see what traction it gets. I could see these being useful on iOS. I believe WBC Acts is on our list, as we're trying to keep WBC current. We also had some good news about NICOT today. :-)

Hi All, I did a quick search and didn't see what I was looking for. If I missed it please forgive the duplicate question and route me to the thread. Thanks in advance. I need to find the 50 most common verbs used in the NT. I need the list in occurrence order, 500xs, 400xs, 300xs etc i.e. λεγω. I don't need to know the instances of each conjugation e.g. λεγω λεγει I would also like to be able to expand this search. For instance λυω λυομαι etc. I hope my request made sense. Also, I'm not interested this morning in learning the entire searching system of Accordance. I will get around to it one day when I'm not attempting to complete a project. Thanks for understanding.

Hi @pclafferty. Unfortunately, Accordance servers will no longer communicate with desktop clients of versions 12 and below; Accordance 13 and 14 are the only supported versions at this time. Please see the following thread for details:

Good spot! Wondered why it was quite short on page numbers! Definitely yes to Acts but think unless there is mega interest in the themes volume from others, i think this request can be ignored.

Running 12.3.7. was encountering error messages on trying to update app, easy install, etc thought an install of the next version would help (perhaps I am presumptuous I was eligible to install 13?) anyhow, this message upon attempting to install 13 any advice? thanks!

egad...and now as I try to install Accordance 13 I get this crash message. please, help!

I am having this same trouble now...though nearly a year later from your thread here. I am currently running 12.3.7. Would that make a difference?
