Mark Parent
I can't figure out how to get back to my main windows after I do a word search? v.8.
Paul Meiklejohn
You should just be on a new tab at the top, just go back to the original tab on the top of the workspace. Paul.
Paul Meiklejohn
Sorry if you did a search within the search window itself, you need to go to history or type '*' and makes sure verses box is highlighted. Paul
Paul Meiklejohn
Actually I've found typing '*' or locating it in history is a little bit fiddley. I've always thought a simple 'one-click' button beside the history button taking out of search and back to the full text would be really handy. Paul Yes I concur, perhaps even an option to open a seperate window for that search also. Thank You
billwing
Yes I concur, perhaps even an option to open a seperate window for that search also. Thank You I am new to Accordance and this forum. I really appreciate the advice that I have read here. When I want the whole text to appear again in the search window I do what you recommend, type an asterisk in the search window and press Enter. The whole text now is in red type, though. Is there a way to get it to appear in black? I like the idea of a clear search button to restore the full text, too. Helen Brown
Search for verses rather than words with an asterisk, and it displays the entire text immediately rather than searching for each word. You can then use the GoTo at the bottom to jump to the passage you want.
