Replicating Logos 4 Default Template

This is in response to this post which asked about replicating Logos 4's default template with passage guide/etc. I decided that it might make sense to create a separate topic for it.

Here's my first attempt:

It's missing a parallel to the "Exegetical Guide" because I couldn't tell from the screen shot provided on the other thread what that guide contained. (I've never used Logos 4)

Most of the setup links or ties tabs and zones so you only have to enter the Scripture passage in the "NRSVS" pane (in my example). But I had to manually enter Matthew 1:1 in the Search All zones (Commentaries & Notes and Verse Comparisons). I tried both the "Contents" and the "Link" command in those search boxes, but they didn't work.

PS I see a screenshot of the exegetical guide has been posted in the other thread. Thank you! I'll work on recreating something similar in accordance and post back

Ok, here's a screen shot with a Search all tab that attempts the replicate the Exegetical Guide.

I have not purchased the syntax modules, so I can't show you how those would work in this setup.

You could save this workspace as a favorite and amplify to it when you want to explore a verse. It's not perfect (not yet, at least!) because as I have it set now, the Search All tabs (Verse Comparison, Commentaries&Notes, Exegetical Guide) aren't linked to the Scripture tabs. I'm not sure how to fix that. I'm hoping someone else will know.

Setting this up does require spending a little time initially with the Library Window to define the various groups used with Search All tabs/zones. It also means that as you purchase more modules, you have to add them to the right Groups. If Accordance added a few more "default" Groups ([All Greek Tools] [All Hebrew Tools], etc.), this could be avoided and new Accordance installations could come with a pre-defined sample "Favorite Workspace" that would do something akin to this. (Or they--or users--could create several of them and make them available on Accordance Exchange)
