Scott W. Kay
In the "Search All" field, whenever I search for a word or series of words that have a large amount of hits in a text, I keep getting results that end somewhere in the OT, with "-------" below them. I often need NT results too, so this is frustrating. For example, when I search All Texts (and ESVS happens to be topmost in my Library Order) for the word "receive" it will not give me all results. Can someone tell me if I can do anything to fix this? Thanks! Here is a sample of what I get: Psa. 24:5 He will receive fblessing from the LORD and grighteousness from hthe God of his salvation. Psa. 49:15 But God will fransom my soul from the power of Sheol, for he will greceive me. Selah Psa. 68:18 iYou ascended on high, jleading a host of captives in your train and kreceiving gifts among men, even among lthe rebellious, mthat the LORD God may dwell there. Psa. 73:24 You fguide me with your counsel, and afterward you will greceive me to glory. - - - - -
Lorinda H. M. Hoover
It looks like there is a 50 verse display limit in the Search All tab. Keep in mind, though, that you can double click on a translation on the left, and a new tab will open with ALL the hits for that translation. In my setup, the new tab opens in a new zone so that I can see the Search All results and the translation-specific results at the same time. Edited July 28, 2013 by Lorinda H. M. Scott W. Kay
Thanks Lorinda! I did not know you could double click in the list and get all the results in a new tab. That's a solution I can live with!
