Thanks, Dr. J. Great podcast (though I can't get it in iTunes). One of my former Sunday school students has already purchased her copy with the student discount (waiting on approval) and can't wait to get her hands on it.

Good podcast, Tim. I think that will be very accessible for a lot of Windows users wanting to see some immediate distinctions of Accordance.

Julie, I just downloaded it in iTunes, so I think it's available now.

Hey, thanks, everyone!

Julie, thanks for the "heads up." My URL was missing a piece, so the link wasn't working. It is now fixed.

Rick, thanks, this one was tough. Do I record it for Windows users who don't have Bible software? Mac users who want to see what it looks like? Emulator users who want to see what the differences are? Or PC users who are looking for a better Bible software program than what they are currently using? There were just too many different possibilities for target audiences.I recorded the Windows program three or four times before I got it right. All of them tried to do too much. Finally, I just decided to show a few things, well.

Well, for those using an emulator, they already know what Accordance can do. They are already familiar with the way a PC works. For those who might have been skeptical, they can see that the interface is PC-like, and the software powerful. For those of us who really don't like Windows but who know that they will be helping people who are running Accordance on Windows, the podcast highlighted the differences we will have to know about to be of any help. For an introductory podcast, I think it did what it had to do.

Having a free demo is important, too. A no-risk test drive is a great way to really show those who don't even have Bible software what it can do.

I can't get any podcasts in iTunes any more. I can't even find "Podcasts" as a category in iTunes any more.

In iOS, there's now a separate podcast app from Apple that has a Store button.

In iTunes for the Mac, Podcasts is still listed next to the other categories near the top of the screen in the iTunes Store.

Rick that may be true for you but there is no podcast category in the itunes store on my Mac. I have tried asking Apple for help but their stuff is more confusing than helpful. I like the podcast app for IOS but it's a shame to not be able to view podcasts on my 20" screen. Enough. I will stop complaining about iTunes in this Forum.
