A few user bible tweaks I'd like to see

Hi ya,

I've been using User Bibles to practice Greek and to compare my translated versus with other translations side by side. Very helpful but I would love to see a few enhancements. As background here is basically how I have it setup. I have the GNT-28T set up in a tab with several translations as parallels next to it, mine, KJVS, NAS95S, NET, ESVS. I have this on the top half and in a zone below that I have a bunch of support tools like lexica, study tools and a translations user note on the bottom right.

1. I would love to be able to edit my user bible in situ. Right now I have to save some of my screen real estate for an editor on the right outside the Acc workspace. It would be nicer to take up the entire screen with my workspace and edit the bible translation in place, or if not, like a user note.

2. It would be nice to create a user bible just like a user note from the menu. The import function would have to be retained in any case for other uses.

3. When one imports a user bible, if you have a copy of it open anywhere a dialog pops up saying that the window containing it will be closed if you continue. As I have a tab with parallel texts in it if I say yes the entire tab is closed. It would be really nice to permit the import to proceed and just refresh the displayed bible. Currently my work around is to switch the bible text via the pull down menu on the parallel pane, then import, then close the tab that is opened on the completion of the import, then switch my parallel pane back. It works but its cumbersome.

4. It would be nice in the multiple text comparison if the base text was not restricted to being the left most one. In my case its the Greek and the comparison I most want to see is between rendering and those I am using to compare with. An alternative (or additional) feature which would be nice would be to be able to pick any two text in such parallel as I have and compare them without having to rely on specific placement. I realise the permutations here could get unwieldy and its not a thing I cannot do manually but mention it in passing.

Thx

D
