Android App

Hello,
I am a long time accordance user (well, long time as in since 2006), and I love the app. I've used it on my Macs, iPhones and iPads.
I am in the process of switching over to an Android phone, knowing that there isn't currently an Accordance app for the Android platform. I know, I know.
I was wondering if you had any plans for creating an Android app? Should I hold out hope?
Thank you for your help...

Would like to see an Android version as well. According to reports, it is outselling IOS in all markets except Japan, and it appears the gap is growing. Just one of many industry observations...

Beyond Apple coming close to supplanting Microsoft in 2014, or actually surpassing Microsoft in 2015, there's no question an equally symbolic landmark will be passed this year when sales of devices based on Google's Android operating system beat the combined sales of Apple and Microsoft products. Android is already the Number 1 computing platform on new devices, with more than 500 million devices shipped to stores in 2012, versus 559 million for Apple (OS X and iOS) and Windows (PC, tablet, and smartphone versions) combined.

Me too. I would like to see Accordance on Android as well.

Nowadays I use Accordance more frequently on the iPad than on my Mac.

I have switched to Android phone (and have no desire to return to iOS) and so have all my family members. The only reason I am still carrying an iPad is solely because of Accordance. Almost all the other apps on my iPad are also available on Android.

So many bible softwares are cross-platform these days, and I find myself less motivated to purchase additional modules in Accordance given that the iOS is the only mobile platform on which I can use them. Even if I have to spend a bit more on modules on a competing cross-platform bible app, I would still find my money well spent because I know I can use it on both platforms.

I love the speed and simplicity of using Accordance vis a vis other apps, and hope to continue using Accordance as my go-to app for Bible studies for many more years to come.

+1. I've seen enough of these threads to know "it's not in the works at this time," but it sure would be nice.
