davidorme
I am starting a study on Baptism. It's easy to search Strongs for all words translated as Baptist, baptize, or baptism. I can see that G0910 derives from G0907 which derives from G0911. My question is, can I search for derivatives of a word? That is, given G0911, how do I find all words that derive from it? Lorinda H. M. Hoover
I think I got them all by searching Strongs for *βαπτ* (with the search field set for Greek Entry) You could also search English content for "911 <OR> 907" (without the quotes), that list, plus 911 and 907 should be fairly complete. I realize, however, that this doesn't provide a "generic" way to do what you are asking, as it is specific to your example word group. If you have a tagged Greek text, you can also search by root.
