I have a different problem using the Amplify tool in the iPad app - not sure yet whether it is also a problem in the Windows version. When I highlight a word in ESV (say) and then get the option to Amplify I get the definition for the word from Easton's Dictionary but don't seem to be given the option of getting any definition from Eerdmans Dictionary (or any other resources). What am I doing wrong (or failing to do) to cause this? I would much prefer to have access to definitions from Eerdmans (and my other resources, say my commentaries).
Amplify to tools

I think that you have to check the order of the books in the English tools. You probably have easton on the top of the list. Put Eerdmans at the top of the list instead.

Since this is about the iPad I moved these two posts from the Mac forum.
The touch interface means that you get far fewer options on the iPad than you do on Mac. You can only amplify to your top tool, but once you are there you can tap the Search button and then change the tool you are searching to another of the same category. So if you amplify to Eerdmans and then want to go deeper in say, Anchor, just change the tool and repeat the search. The same works for commentaries when you amplify from a verse reference.

Thanks gorab1 and Helen. I have re-ordered Eerdmans in the English tools in Windows but cannot see how I can do that in the iPad app. Presumably I need to sync with Accordance in the app but that doesn't seem to be working - despite good wifi connection I just get the "Accordance Sync - Waiting for Accordance - Cancel" dialogue box. Can you tell me how I should be putting Eerdmans to the top of the list of English tools in the iPad app?

I did that in the other post you have. Syncing will move tools to the iPad but is has to be done simultaneously on both platforms. Please see the Accordance Help for iOS. You'll get your answers there much quicker than on the forums.

Following Helen's instructions in the other post, here are the visuals (sorry it's an iPhone, but the process is the same)

Using English tools, and Eerdman's as an example. But this can be done in any of the subsections of the library,.

Thank you very much Ken and Helen. I am sorry but I have been very dim. I didn't think to try moving the resource via the shaded area! I did try looking in the Accordance Help but didn't find anything immediately obvious in response to my "Amplify" query. Your very prompt and considerate response and help is much appreciated.
