T. Conrad
Hi there, Is there a shortcut to bring keyboard focus to the search bar when the library pane is open?Alternatively, is there an option for the default behaviour of the Library pane to focus on the search bar for keyboard input upon initial open of the Library pane? Thanks, Tim
Joel Brown
Command-F will put focus in the library search, and can be done immediately upon opening the Library.
Rick Bennett
Alternatively, is there an option for the default behaviour of the Library pane to focus on the search bar for keyboard input upon initial open of the Library pane? Thanks, Tim Personally, I would also like the focus to be on the search when first opened.
Graham Buck
+1 from me. Current workflow: cmd+opt+1 -> tab -> type A 33% decrease in steps would be fantastic.
T. Conrad
Thanks Joel and Graham. I found out about using tab to focus on the search not long after I posted this (go figure ). I think it would be intuitive to have the search bar in focus right away upon opening the library for those of us who open it on an as-needed basis. Perhaps I'll repost this in feature requests.
