Lock synchronize scroll in split pane view

When in split pane view, while scrolling in one pane the other pane is always lagging behind. I would appreciate the ability to lock the two scrolling panes to scroll together (synchronized) at the same time please.

The scrolling catches up when the next verse is reached. This has never been a problem on a larger screen, but I can see that it is more of an issue on a phone. However, it would be very difficult to match the scrolling line by line as many versions have very different word orders from the original.

True. I hadn't considered the differences. Yes, it is rather buggy on a small screen. It is hard when making a comparison. I wish I could lock the phone or app in landscape mode to take advantage of the larger reading area while laying on my side reading one handed.

This is a related question--can I "unlock" the synchronization? I'd like to display three different texts from the same Sunday lectionary readings (e.g., an OT text, a NT epistle and the Gospel text). Is this possible?

On Accordance Mobile version 2 (latest IOS version) you can now unlock the two panes (there is a link/unlink sign at the top of the second pane). This will allow you to display two different sections of the same text, but you are not able to display three texts at the same time.

However, when you unsynch, it doesnt remember where you are and jumps to a different part. Can it be set so that when you unsynch, it stays where you are. For example i am looking at john but when i unsynch, the second panel jumps to what i might have been looking at such as revelation.

Thanks

That's a bug that should be resolved in the next release.
