I have sincerely enjoyed my job for many years now, but it's gotten to the point where the texts and the tools in Accordance have become so interesting that I regret having to go to work in the morning.
It all started as a daily commitment to read the Bible (using Accordance) for 10 minutes each morning back in 2009.
Now, though, my morning reading has turned into study and it has become so fascinating that there is hardly a day when I finish under 30 minutes. It often lasts an hour or more. When I get a spare moment throughout the workday I perform various searches to follow-up on whatever came to mind from the morning studies. By the end of most week days, though, I'm pretty wiped out. My attempts to continue on the iOS app usually end in deep sleep.
Weekend studies are different. They usually last much longer, sometimes taking up most of the day (until the family intervenes or complains).
This makes me think about how nice it would be to quit my job and spend more time studying the Bible.
I guess my family would throw me out after that.
Maybe Accordance should put a warning label on their product page!
