Simulating three texts/tools at a time in iOS

Though Accordance for iOS currently offers ability to just have two panes open at a time, I have found a good workaround (for work in the original languages) that simulates the effect of three panes.

See attached image, from iPhone in landscape mode.

Left pane is Hebrew text. Then for my second pane I select a tool (commentary) of some sort that has hyperlinked individual verses, which I can then tap to have a popover English translation show up.

I've been making my way through Obadiah in Hebrew in this way--with a commentary and also with an English translation at the ready, without having to open new texts or tools.

I'm sure lots of folks are already doing this, but I wanted to share the tip here in case it helped someone.

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to move the pop up window to the bottom corner of the screen!

And if the original language or pop up text was tagged, we could get a dictionary to pop up in the other corner so simulate 4 screens!

Users will never be satisfied, so developers will always have a job!

;o)
