Books by Authors of Color--Thank You, and Keep 'Em Coming, Please

I was happy to see a couple of books on black theology/African American experience/the black church--written by two African American men--released this week in Accordance. I was bummed that at least one of them seems to be pretty much a takedown of liberation theology (when Accordance doesn't first have anything by James Cone or Gustavo Gutierrez or the like), but I know the forums aren't for discussing theology, i.e., making a case for or against liberation theology.

So I am posting to say (1) kudos to Accordance for publishing a couple more books by authors of color, and, please, let's keep that coming. My MLK and Romero forum suggestions already have garnered interest (thanks, Rick M., for the User Tool!). And (2) if there are to be continued Accordance offerings from authors of color, I hope Accordance feels plenty of freedom to include authors from places like Union Seminary, just as they have included a book from someone at King's College. Cone, Gutierrez, and Cornel West would all be good starting points, I think, not to mention more offerings by women of color, too.

And anything by Paulo Freire would be wonderful.

If others would also like resources like the above, please post here, too.

Thanks for the consideration.
